Robert Jacobi
Robert first fell in love with the classical guitar when attending a classical concert by Julian Bream in Paris. He started taking guitar lessons at 8 years old. Growing up in Europe, Robert’s first teacher (Horst Sohm) was a student of Segovia. At the time his teacher gave house concerts for celebrities such as Salvador Dali just to name a few.

Throughout his youth Robert played and studied guitar with various teachers while also giving house concerts. Robert moved to California from Europe in 1996 where he was involved with film music and studio work. He collaborated with both film and pop music producers in Hollywood and played in numerous band projects. His ability to move from classical and flamenco guitar to rhythm and lead electric guitar and even bass guitar made him a good fit for many musical styles.

Robert can provide a wide range of musical experiences. Whether upbeat background music for large indoor or outdoor fund raisers, festive classical arrangements for weddings, eclectic and somber pieces for funerals or simply studio or band support work – it is all possible.
